European Commission’s report on IPR infringed goods detained by Customes

The European Commission released its annual report on customs activities related to intellectual property rights (IPR) infringing goods and called for new enforcement measures.

The report says that 93% of the medicinal products detained by EU customs officials were from India. Apparently, many of the Indian drug shipments detained by EU were legitimate generic drugs in transit, en route from India to other developing countries.
