Meet with Sharif likely during PM Modi’s 3-nation trip in March

PM Modi’s visit to Saudi Arabia will be preceded by a trip to Washington for NSS, which will be attended by leaders from nearly 50 countries, including Pakistan’s Sharif.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Belgium, US and Saudi Arabia between March 30 and April 3. During his visit to Washington DC for the Nuclear Security Summit, he may meet Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif.

He will first visit Belgium for the India-EU Summit, and then proceed to the US for the Nuclear Security Summit from March 31. On his way back, he will visit Saudi Arabia on April 2 and 3.

The PM will be attending the India-EU Summit after a gap of four years. The last summit took place in 2012. The summit in Washington will be attended by leaders from nearly 50 countries, including Pakistan’s Sharif.
